BR at 3 Months Old

She's starting to like her Bumbo seat and loves her Jumperoo.

I can't believe that she's already 3 months old. My how time is flying by! Chase and I are still falling more and more in love with her everyday. She is so sweet and fun to play with. I LOVE to make her smile! She is the most adorable thing I've ever seen and I'm truly blessed to have such an adorable daughter. Thank you, Lord, for giving us Brantley Rae.

Playdate at Our House

Yesterday, we had a playdate at our house. These sweet babies and their mommas came over to play. While the babies slept and played, us mommas scrapbooked. I didn't get much done but it was still great to have friends over.

Alice's mommy, Sarah, made the girls these cute headbands. I have been wanting one for BR so I was really happy that Sarah made us one. Thank you, Sarah!

We tried to get a picture of them with all of their heads together but if each one of them took turns crying during the pictures. 

Our house was a zoo but it was a fun and mostly happy zoo. Hopefully we can do it again soon! Next time I'll have to try and get a picture of us Mommies with our babies.

Jumperoo

On Tuesday, we went over to the Cowart's house to pick up some of Lillian's great toys that don't use anymore since Lillian is 2 now. So far Brantley Rae's favorite is this Jumperoo. We had to improvise with the puzzle box under her feet so that she could actually jump. She may only be 12 weeks old but she can bounce around in this thing like a champ. As she gets bigger, she'll be able to start playing and exploring the toys on the Jumperoo. For now she just bounces around while I clean house or eat breakfast or lunch.

BR's friend, AnnaBelle came over yesterday and she got to take a turn in the Jumperoo. She loved it as well. I think her mommy might have considered buying one because AB was having so much fun. She is almost 5 months so her feet actually touch the floor and she could play with the toys. I know Brantley Rae will be that big before I know it and then she'll probably stay in it longer. 

We have SUCH a precious baby girl!! I thank the Lord for her everyday. I'm falling more and more in love than I ever knew was possible. I love being a Mommy to our precious Brantley Rae!!

Happy Birthday, PawPaw!

Tuesday was PawPaw's birthday. He and Beverly celebrated his actual birthday by going to dinner at J. Alexanders. After dinner they got some of their carrot cake because that's Glenn's favorite kind of cake. They said it was really yummy!

Last night was family dinner night at Bebe and PawPaw's house so we celebrated his birthday again. He chose salmon patties, rice and peas to have as his birthday dinner. It was really good! We have awesome brownies for birthday dessert. They were still warm and oh so good!

As you can tell from these pictures BR was really happy that her PawPaw had a birthday and that she was getting to hang out with him. So cute! I really love these pictures of them together!!

Number 69...Check

I did it! I changed the font on our blogs post title, sidebar and date. Yay! I'm so happy! I couldn't have done it without Lauren's help. I was totally messing up and she helped me figure out where I had gone wrong. Thank you, Lauren!

I'm so pumped! #69 is now crossed off the list. yay!

Help! I can't change my font.

Okay there are a few of my fellow blogger friends that have figured out how to change the font on their blogs and I need your help. I've been using the tutorial from Kevin & Amanda's blog but I can't get past the webs.com step. I've uploaded my font and the other four files. When it asks me to open the SWF file from my file manager to get the URL code, that doesn't work for me. It just keeps opening the font in a separate window and not giving me a URL. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong. I'm using a PC and Windows 7. I'm not sure if that will have anything to do with it but I just can't seem to get it to work on my computer. 

If you can help in any way I would GREATLY appreciate it. If anyone wants to do it for me I would be most gracious because this is giving me a major headache. ARG!

Numbers 47 and 94... Check

Saturday morning, Chase and I got out and planted these 5 white Petunia bunches in our little flower bed. They add a nice little touch. I kinda wish we had gotten colored flowers but oh well I still like these.

It's not much but at least they're flowers planted in our yard. Check!

This didn't last all that long but BR laid there and kicked and talked for a good 20 minutes maybe. I had the net over it to keep the bugs away from her and it worked pretty well.

It was fun to check another thing off my list of 101 in 1001.

Number 16...Change of Plans

My #16 on my 101 list was to buy a bigger house but as of today we won't be buying a bigger house, we will be BUILDING a bigger house. Actually we've decided to add on to our house and make it bigger. It's going to be great! A laundry room, living room and a new master bedroom suite. Yay!

What brought on this change in plans you may ask....

Well we had to get our septic cleaned out today because it had started backing up in the yard a bit. I know that's kinda gross but it's the truth. After the tank was emptied, Chase and his dad discovered that the field lines need to be replaced/added. And we've been toying with the idea of adding on to our house for a while. We LOVE where we live and really want to stay in Bluff Park. So instead of spending the money to just add field lines that will have to be replaced when we add on, we're just gonna bite the bullet and put in a new bigger septic tank and new field lines so that we'll never have this problem again AND we'll have a 4 bedroom/3 bath house with a formal living room, a comfy den/playroom and a new mater suite. SWEET!! I can't wait for it to all start happening. It's actually going to be a while before we start on the house but a tree has to come down in the backyard and the septic tank stuff will be happening soon. Our backyard will look rough for a while but in the end it will be awesome. We're gonna add a swing set when the house is done and fence in the backyard for Marley to run around and not have to be on a leash all the time. Seriously, I'm so excited about it! I wish they could start tomorrow, but I have to be patient.

So now my #16 on my list of 101 in 1001 is to Add on to Our House.

I really want to figure out how to change the font at the top of my posts and sidebars but I can't find the link to the website that tells you how to do it. Also I would really like to add a picture to our header. Anyone know how to do that? If you know please comment back. Thanks!!

11 Weeks Old

I can't believe she is almost 3 months old. Time flies!!

This sweet baby girl has slept through the night 2 times this week. Yay! We're getting closer and closer. Those nights that been really nice for me. She is a great sleeper, thankfully!

She has discovered her hands and was staring at them while I was trying to take these pictures. She kept going cross-eyed. hehe! She's adorable and we love her more and more every day.

Number 98...Check

Number 98 on my list of 101 in 1001 was to eat dinner at Flipburger at the Summit shopping mall. I got to eat there last night with my friends Jami, Ashley and Ashley's daughter, Ava Reese. It was really good and we had a great time chatting and catching up with each other.

This was my yummy burger and fries. Ashley and I just got the bacon cheeseburger but they have lots of really different/interesting/yummy burgers to choose from. Jami got a Southern burger and it actually looked pretty good, maybe I'll try that next time.

After our burgers we all ordered Nutella milk shakes. They were suppose to be on fire but by the time the waiter brought ours to us the flames had gone out. It was kinda like a s'more so the marshmellows on top were roasted. It was SO good! I drank the whole thing.

We took this picture with my phone so that's why the quality isn't great but it's still documentation. haha! Jami took better pictures with her camera but I haven't gotten them from her yet.

It was a fun night and I can't wait to take Chase there to have dinner one night soon.

Number 24...Check

Number 24 on my list of 101 in 1001 was to start a scrapbook for Brantley, I officially started it on Friday!! I worked on it at my friend Sarah's house on Friday and then Saturday morning as well at our house. It's already turning out pretty cute but I have a lot more pages to put it in still.

These are just a few of the first pages. I love the way it's turning out!

Ashley & Jeremy's Engagement Pictures

Today, Chase took Ashley and Jeremy's engagement pictures. These are just some of the best ones. I think they turned out pretty good and I hope that they like them.We started out at Homewood Park but there were way to many people/kids running around to get any pictures without them in the background. So most of the pictures were taken at the Botanical Gardens. It was such a beautiful day!

May 28th is going to be here before we know it you two. I hope you like these pictures!

Number 82...Check

My #82 was to finish filling out my list of 101 in 1001. I know that it's kind of cheating but I was stuck and I needed some motivation to finish the list. If you would like to see my completed list go HERE.

Now I've got to get busy on completing some of the things. Here I go...

Happy Easter!

We had a very Happy Easter this year! Brantley was a very good girl at church. She slept right through the church service and pretty much all the way through Sunday school. She looked so precious in her Easter bubble outfit. I love the bonnet!

For lunch we went to my Aunt Mary Jo and Uncle Mike's house. It was great to see so many of our family members! Not everyone was there and they were missed.

While we were out on the back deck, Brantley wanted to be put down so she could kick her legs and just get her energy out. So I laid her on the seat cushion and she played for about 20 minutes. I love that she is smiling at us so much these days.

This is Brantley with her Easter baskets. The one on the left is from her Nana & PopPop and the one on the right is from us. We gave her a "My First Read and Learn Bible" and my parents gave her some Robeez (shoes) and the stuffed duck. Oh and I bought her that "Baby's First Easter" bib about a month ago. ha!  So cute!

I'm really not sure that I could love that sweet little smile anymore than I do. I could just eat her up! The bunny ears are adorable as well. I'm really glad she didn't mind them being on her head.

I love the story of Easter and I'm very thankful for the sacrifice Jesus made for me/us.
