This link will take you to the Blog of Brittany and Beau Daniel. Their sweet baby boy had to be delivered at 29 weeks. Little Gaines weights 3lb 2oz and he needs lots of prayers. His parents could also use some prayers so please take some time to lift up this family. Pray that Gaines will start to make progress so that they can come home to Alabama.

I'm getting closer...

to finishing my quilt. YAY!!! I'm so proud of my progress. Check it out!!!

I still have to sew the top strip on and connect the borders and put the back on. SO I have a lot to do but I have a great teacher so as long as I make time to go over to Bebe and Glenn's house I'll get it finished in no time.

This is the center square of the quilt. I apliqued that and hand stiched all the way around it. I love it!! Hopefully I'll finish it in the next few months and of course I'll post pictures of the finished product. I can't wait!!

3 Months of Bliss

Friday was mine and Chase's 3 month wedding anniversary. The last 3 months have been wonderful. I don't think I could be happier. Chase is absolutely an AMAZING husband!! and I'm pretty sure I've been a good wife thus far. He would have to post about that.
Saturday night we celebrated by going to Firebirds at Patton Creek because that is where we went on our first date the day after we met. Chase had pork tenderloin and I had cilantro-lime chicken. Both were wonderfully yummy dishes. It was a great night together!!!
Happy Anniversary to us!!!!

New Phones

Last Monday, Chase and I went up to T-Mobile and gave new touchscreen PDA phones. I got the Samsung BEHOLD and Chase got the Samsung MEMOIR. They are both really cool but It's taking us a while to get used to them but hopefully our fingers will adjust soon. The MEMOIR has an 8 megapixel camera on it which is an awesome feature for Chase to have since he loves taking pictures so much. My BEHOLD has a 5 megapixel camera so it takes pretty good pictures but not great. Overall, they are pretty cool!!

Thirsty Thursday

Thursday Chase and I met a few friends at the Baron's game. It was Thirsty Thursday so the stadium was pretty packed.

I've been a lazy blogger

Sorry, I haven't been keeping you all informed lately. Hopefully I will get around to updating our Blog tonight or tomorrow maybe. We've been pretty busy so I have lots to Blog about. Check back in a few days.

Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Trevor Lobdell...

and Ashley.
I had to borrow/steal this picture from Ashley's facebook page because I sadly did not get a good picture of the happy couple. So thanks Ash for not getting mad at me. hehe!

The Lobdell's were married at First Baptist Church of Pelham on April 18th. The reception followed at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Hoover. The ceremony and reception were beautiful and everything went perfect. The weather was wonderful all day!!
They are such a sweet couple! Chase and I are very excited for them!!!

This is Ashley and I before the wedding. She was in the wedding party as you can tell. Their dresses were beautiful!!

Here is our little family. I got to sit with them a lot since Chase was a groomsman, he wasn't around much at the beginning of the reception. Fun Times with the in-laws!

Chase was so very handsome in his tux. We had a wonderful time dancing the night away and hanging out with our friends.

Easter Sunday

Sunday morning we got up and went to church and Sunday school, both of which were wonderful. Our past two weeks in our Sunday school class have been on finances and Chase and I have really learned a lot and realized even more about how we need to manage our money.

This class has been wonderful for us. I would recommend it to any couple that is engaged or newly married. It will open your eyes to lots of things that can cause problems in a marriage and the class teaches ways to work through those hard times.
Money is one of the top reasons 50% of marriages end in divorce. So Chase and I are all ears for the advice they give on this subject. Already I can tell we are on the right track. Yay!

After church we hurried home because I was in charge of making green bean casserole and I hadn't cooked it yet. Oops! I went to the Baron's game instead of cooking it the night before. But it turned out great and we got to my Aunt and Uncles house on time. Hooray for that! We took our Easter pictures in the back yard before going to lunch.
Only part of my fairly big family was able to make it Sunday but we still had a great time and missed everyone who couldn't be there.

We had a great day and we're so thankful for the sacrifice that was made for our sins and for the resurrection of our savior so that we can be free. Praise be to God!!

Wonderful Weekend

Friday night we met some friends for dinner at LaFiesta in Hoover and then went to Vestavia Bowl for a little fun. We all had a really great time. I beat Chase the second game by one point. It was an awesome come back right at the end because I got a turkey in the last 3 frames. Yay for me!

This is Cody and his wife, Audry. Cody is the new guy at Chase's work. They are a really fun couple and we're glad they came out with us. Yay for new friends!!

The best part of my weekend by far was Saturday night. Chase and I went to the Baron's game to hangout with a friend of mine that I miss verymuch! We all had a great time! He is such an ADORABLE little boy and he has an amazing family that loves him dearly. He is truly blessed!! I wish I could explain how happy it made me to see him again!!

Boy Got A New Toy

Last Thursday night I went out to work with Chase and he showed me his new toy. This is a KUBOTA Utility vehicle that he uses to drive around the terminal. I got to go for a ride and it's pretty fun!
Anyways, I just wanted to share that. This is the first of 3 posts for tonight. Stay tuned!

The time has come...

for me to say goodbye to my Bluff Park friends. It's is an extremely bitter sweet day. I'm not ready to go AT ALL but I know that God is leading me where he wants me to go. So I look forward to what he has in store for my career and life.
Thank you so much to everyone who has been praying for me this past week. I am feeling so much stronger than I thought I would feel and I believe it's because of all the prayers. The staff here at BP are having an ice cream party for my farewell this afternoon after school, which is SO sweet of them! I hope and pray that I am welcomed as well at the new school as I have been here at Bluff Park. I'm really going to miss my little guy and all my wonderful friends that I have made.
This morning my friends Donna, Jane and I were walking down the hall together and someone referred to us as the "Three Musketeers" and I about wanted to cry right then and there because I'm going to miss those two wonderful ladies the most! They both work in P.E. and that has been my favorite part of everyday because they are so much fun. Jane, I know you will probably read this and I hope you will share it with Donna. Thank you both for all the laughter that we shared in the gym. I look forward to the times that we get to meet up and hang out after school. I love you girls!

I'll keep everyone updated on how the transfer goes tomorrow. Hopefully it will be a great situation!

I Miss Him!

Speaking of Chase, he is at the beach this weekend for a bachelor party. I've got lots to do while he's gone. I'm going to get to all those things tomorrow because tonight I'm just going to sit on the couch with Marley, Blog, Facebook and watch TV. Relaxing!!!! It's only been a few hours and I REALLY miss Chase. This is the longest we've been apart since we got married so I'm kinda bored but totally enjoying this chance to be lazy and not feeling guilty about it. hehe! (Not that he makes me feel guilty)

This is a picture from the first night Chase and I met. We were almost instantly attracted to each other without even talking all that much. We just kinda clicked! Chase asked me out for dinner the next night and that is when our relationship really started.
That was such an amazing week in my life. I thank the Lord daily for Chase and for the way my life has changed since he has come into it. I feel like we have totally completed each other. I couldn't be happier with me life. I love it all, even the job thing. It's going to grow on me. The more I think about it the better I feel about it. I'm strong and I'll be fine!!
