Jewelry Lady!

Below is the letter I sent to friends and family last week to share the latest happenings with the Williamson's.
Dear Friends and Family,
Life has been a bit of a roller coaster for me these past couple of months as I transitioned from working part-time at Dawson into starting graduate school at UAB this fall, all while trying to still be a good wife and mom. I have made the decision, with Chase and the guidance of God, to withdraw from school so that I can get back to being a wife and mom full time. School had been taking me away from home far too much. The girls are so young and Chase has started a new job, so right now I am needed at home the most. God has been teaching me so many things about what He wants for my life and I am trying to be obedient as I transition into another exciting career choice that will allow me to focus on family FIRST!!
One of my dear friends, who I met while working at Dawson, introduced me to Premier Designs back in April of this year. I was very intrigued by the company right from the start. Not only is the jewelry gorgeous, but Premier has been built on two basic principles – to honor God and to serve people. I have prayed for years that God would put strong, faithful, encouraging women in my life that I can grow meaningful friendships with. I believe that my Premier Designs family is the answer to those prayers!
The day I received my Kit. Bling!!
Premier is a company that was created specifically for stay-at-home moms who wanted to put their primary focus on raising their children, while still being able to contribute financially to their families as well. It is a company founded on biblical principles and also supports many ministries and missionary families around the world. Now that's a company I want to work for!! Not only is Premier a company focused on giving back to others, it is focused on providing great opportunities and a wonderful income to the jewelers who choose it as a career.
Premier also has a GREAT hostess plan! That's where you come into play!! You, as a hostess, will sign up with me to have a jewelry show at your house. You invite all your friends over for a girl’s night out where we will have snacks, play games, and try on jewelry! You receive 30% of the retail show in FREE jewelry, as well as many other perks and benefits! Now, what girl doesn't want free jewelry!!?!!
My training show will be on Monday, November 11th at 7:00 pm and I sure hope all my Birmingham friends and family will be there to support me! There is no pressure to buy any jewelry if you don't want to. I'd simply love to have you there! If you are interested in hosting a show, looking at a catalog, or hearing more information about Premier, don't hesitate to call or email me.
I really feel this is what God has given me to do for this season in my life. I am eagerly serving Him and my family as Proverbs 31:11-14 states...
Her husband has full confidence in her
and lacks nothing of value.
She brings him good, not harm,
all the days of her life.
She selects wool and flax
and works with eager hands.
Thank you for your support!

Happy to serve you!

This group of ladies is just part of my wonderful Premier Family. I'm so excited so see what God does in my life and through me with Premier. I am so thankful for this opportunity to serve others and have fun play in jewelry too!!
I am thoroughly enjoying being back at home with my family both mentally and physically. I didn't realize how much I missed them and they missed me. I am so excited about my journey with Premier. I hope to pay for vacations with my earnings so that Chase doesn't have to worry about that at all. I want to take our family to DISNEY WORLD!! That is my big goal and my short term goal is to buy a new washing machine. haha We have a front loader by LG and it STINKS both literally and mechanically. I have tried cleaning the seal but every time, the smell comes right back. Shoo-wee, as Savannah would say. haha
The girls helped me go through and try on all the pretty jewelry the day a received it. Such fun!!
I'm hoping to blog about Savannah and all that she is doing and up to these days since she is almost 18 months old! What!! "Time flies when you're busier than God intended you to be." That was me, but now I'm back.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

I miss blogging!

I miss blogging SO much! I really hate that I've had to let it go for so many months. I wish I had time to go back and catch up but I really just don't. But for tonight, I'm going to do a family update, just to jot down what's been going on with us.

Brantley and I got dressed up in 80s attire last week to go to JiJi's birthday party at Roller Motion. Brantley LOVED it and is looking forward to going back sometime soon.
Brantley:
She will be in 3K preschool again this year 3 days a week. I know she is going to learn so much and make more new friends this year. School starts on Tuesday and we are all ready! Brantley is also taking ballet and tap this year. She LOVES it! My wonderful mother-in-law has taken on this activity for us each week while I'm in class and Chase is at home with Savannah or working. Thank you, Bebe!
Brantley loves to color, paint, draw...pretty much create something with whatever she can find. She is working on her hand writing and has improved quite a lot since the beginning of the summer. She is a very smart little girl!
We (Chase and I) gave BR her first haircut last week at home. She did great and the cut turned out straight. ha!

Savannah:
Well, my Doodlebug is 15 month old now and I can hardly believe it! Life is flying by and I can't keep up. She is walking and getting into EVERYTHING! Savannah is a climber, so the kitchen chairs and the stool in the bathroom are two places that I can usually find her. She doesn't want to miss out on anything! Girlfriend only naps once a day usually for about 1.5hrs, 2 if I'm lucky. She doesn't require a whole lot of sleep, much like her Momma!
Savannah is a very animated little girl! She doesn't have many words yet but she gets her point across just fine without them. We're working on this each day of course but I'm not really worried. So far she says, "Momma" and she says "da" all the time for just about everything else. I guess she says "Dada" for Chase sometimes but not much. She just gets super excited when she hears him come home. It's so cute! When she is saying bye to someone, she will wave her little hand and say "da, da" just like "bye, bye". She has perfect intonation and all, just the wrong word/sound.
Still not much going on in the hair department. We think the fuzz has gotten a LITTLE bit longer but that may just be wishful thinking. I'm not sure. She also only has 4 teeth still.
Savannah will also be starting preschool this Fall in the 18 month class. She is a little young but we're going to see how she does.

Me:
Oh gosh, me, I'm busy all the time, everyday! Between cooking, cleaning, parenting, working part-time, Thirty-One, and most recently, graduate school...I have NO free time! Everyday has to be planned out to the minute in order for me to get everything done and for me to stay on task. This is crazy for me and really overwhelming right now and today was my first grad class. Yike! Prayers for peace would be greatly appreciated right now. I know I can't do everything on my own, so I've asked Chase to help out more than he has been lately, because I simply just can't do it all if I'm going to be a good student. I absolutely LOVE my Thirty-One business and team so I'm going to be working super hard to keep my business strong. I was able to go to Thirty-One National conference back at the beginning of this month and I had a wonderful time. I met many of the great ladies on my team and learned a ton from training and conversations with other consultants while I was there.
This is my awesome Director, Tammy Harper. She is a great time leader and wonderful friend. I am so thankful for her kind words of encouragement over the past few months. Thank you, Tammy! You are beautiful, inside and out!!
Grainy picture but this is me at conference with my team members. It was so fun to meet every one and I look forward to see you all again next year!!

So, back to school.... I'm taking 4 classes this semester. I'm already stressing out but I'm taking it day by day. I know that this is where I'm suppose to be because I've felt God leading me during this whole process, so I know He will help me. I can do this if I stay focused every day on the things I need to accomplish.

Chase:
He is such a hard-working man and I love him for that! He hardly ever stops doing stuff whether it's at work or at home. I am so thankful for all he does and that he is going to be doing for our family while I'm in school. The next two years are going to be interesting, but in the end it will be worth it.
So there you have it, the latest on the Williamson's. My hope is that I can blog at least once a month from here on out but we will see.

Remember me?

So, it's been a really LONG time since I've blogged. I'm sitting at work with not much time (yet again) but I wanted to share the AWESOME family pictures we had taken by White Cotton Photography a few weeks ago. They turned out beautifully!
Thank you, Codie, SO MUCH for taking these wonderful photos of our family! I can't wait to put them on canvas and hang them in the house.

Savannah Claire's First Birthday Party

Today we celebrated Savannah's First Birthday here at our house. We had a wonderful time! The weather was perfect and lots of sweet friends and family came over to celebrate with us.
(Invitation is from Lemonade Design Studio on Etsy)

We had a wonderful time outside playing in the bouncy house, ball pit, with sidewalk chalk and so much more!

We had hotdogs, chips, goldfish, watermelon, strawberry-lemon cookies, sweet tea and of course strawberry lemonade for lunch.

Big Sis had a great time playing with her friends and her big cousin, Alyssa!

 Savannah LOVED her birthday cake!

Pam Franklin delivered this beautiful cake to our house this morning along with Savannah's smash cake. Pam is SO good to us and I am so thankful to know her. Pam, you are wonderful! Thank you for making our cakes!
Savannah managed to get icing all over herself as well as the highchair. She took a bath immediately following these pictures.

Sweet friends played and had so much fun playing in our front yard. It was so great to have everyone here!
Brantley was given an awesome belated birthday present at the end of the party. This bubble machine puts out a lot of bubbles. This one puts the one that Santa Claus brought Brantley to shame. ha! She loves it! Thank you, Aunt Mary Ellen and Alyssa!
We'd like to thank everyone that was able to come to the party today! We loved having you all here and thank you for the sweet gifts. Savannah is lucky to be loved and cared for so much by all of you.
Thanks again!

Happy 1st Birthday, Savannah Claire!
We love you!

Savannah's Dedication

Savannah's Baby Dedication was last Sunday. It was an absolutely perfect day! The weather was beautiful and so many of our friends and family were able to join us for the service and lunch. Savannah is loved by so many people! We are truly thankful for all the loving family and friends that the Lord surrounded us with that day. It could not have been more perfect!
There was a photographer at church that took pictures of the whole group for us but I haven't been able to get those back yet. Once I do, I will for sure post them.

We chose Psalms 37: 4-7a as Savannah's Life Verse.
"Delight yourself in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to the Lord;
Trust in him, and he will act.
He will bring forth your righteousness as the light,
and your justice as the noonday.
Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him."

Photos from the Park

Brantley was so proud of herself for walking across this rope all by herself.

Look out boys, those eyes are gonna capture you one day!
We had a great time playing at the park and plan to go back very soon before it starts getting too hot and staying hot in the late afternoon.
