Molly Lane is 2!!

Last Saturday, we celebrated this sweet girl's 2nd birthday at the swimming pool with friends and family. We had a great time because BR loves to swim. There was a little kids pool that Brantley could actually touch the bottom (it was 1-2 ft deep) and she LOVED that.

Look how cute they all are!! Just adorable!! All the kiddos had a blast, especially Miss Molly!

Brantley and I had SO much fun! I love swimming with her. She is a little fish and has no fear. She just jumps right in! I have to be on my toes at all times when we are around a pool because she will jump in.

BR totally enjoyed her cupcake! They were finger lickin' good!

Lastly, I made Molly this cute outfit like Brantley's but the colors are switched up. Molly's top is a little bit too long so you can't see her pink shorts but it's still super cute on her. Don't they look like little models. Such cuties!!

This and That from June

 A few weeks ago we went to dinner with 2 couples from our small group from church and their little ones. Brantley, Bryant and Alice had a big time at dinner. I love our little group and am very thankful for the friendships we have been making.

 Stinkerbelle has discovered her love for Oreos and really anything chocolate. Today she had her first chocolate milkshake from Chick-fil-a. It was LOVE at first sip!! The milkshake was actually mine but once I let her have a sip it was all of a sudden hers and she did not want to share with Mommy. We're still working on the sharing lesson. Gotta love her!!

 Chase and I got to go to the Bama Rising concert on Tuesday, June 14th. It was awesome and totally worth the money!! So much money was raised for the tornado victims from April 27th, 2011 from the ticket sells and text donations.

 That same day Grayson James Runnels was born. I am so excited for Nikki and Bradley. Welcome to the world of parenthood! It's an awesomely rewarding roller coaster. Hold on and enjoy the ride!!!

Long Time, No Blog!

Wow! It's been almost a month since I last blogged. Major bummer! So much has been going on with house selling and hunting that I have hardly even taken very many pictures. I do have a few posts to write but I just wanted to make this post about our house situation.

Last week the buyers of our house had the closing on their old house so since their closing was completed that means they have the money freed up to close on ours. Yay! Our closing is on July 13th and we have to move out on the 15th. That's a little over 3 weeks away. OMG!! We have a lot of packing to do. Not only do we have a lot of packing to do but we also need to find house to buy!! Yes you read that correctly... we still don't have a contract on a new house for us!!

Thankfully, we can move in with Chase's parents until we find the right thing, but this is still very stressful. 

We know that God has a perfect plan and a perfect house picked out for us, I just hope that we find it soon. :o)

For now we have looked at just about every house in the Hoover area that meets what we're looking for and none of them have been just right. Like I said before, I know God has a plan so we're just trying to stay patient and keep looking, until we find our next house. I can't wait!! Really!!

So, now that I've caught you up on all that I can post about the fun stuff and what we've been up to lately. It's going to take me a day or two to get them done but I'm going to try my hardest and stay up late if I have to to get caught back up. Stay tuned...

Wednesday night we went to Ichiban for Beverly's birthday. As usual, the food was really good and Brantley loved the fried rice.

Next year we get to throw a big birthday bash for Bebe because she'll be turning the BIG 50!! Look out it's going to be a blast!!

Father's Day 2011

 This year we celebrated how much we love our Daddy with lunch at Iguana Grill after church. That is Chase's favorite Mexican restaurant so of course we went there. It was great! Brantley was a little flirt. We're in trouble! Haha!

 After lunch we went to see PopPop and Nana for a little while. We gave PopPop cards and told him how much we love him and that we are very thankful for all he does. 

Brantley rode her toy pony and played with all her other toys. It was a great visit!!

Brantley is learning how to count. So far she only says "2" after we count "1" but I think I have heard her say "3" once or twice.

 I love this family picture! Chase and I wore the same color shirts so we would match BR's outfit. I know that's kinda silly but the picture turned out great!

 For dinner we went over to PawPaw and Bebe's house to tell PawPaw how much we love him and that we are very thankful for him as well.

Brantley played peek-a-boo with her PawPaw and had a really good time, as she always does at Bebe and PawPaw's house.

I love her little laugh! Melt my heart!!

Her vocabulary is really starting to grow. She also makes some animal sounds but I'm not adding those because I'm not sure how I would spell them. haha

House Hunting- Day 1

This afternoon was our first time to go "house hunting" with our realtor, Di Anne Taylor. We met her at one of the potential houses we had found online and quickly realized that the house needs a whole lot more work and repair than we are willing to do. While looking through that house it was brought to my attention that the other house that I was DYING to look at and have been watching online for months, is no longer available as of today. REALLY! I couldn't believe it.  Mrs. Taylor said the people have accepted an offer and an inspection is pending. Pooy!! I was pretty bummed and still kinda am, but I know the good Lord has a perfect house picked out for us and that must not be it.

So then we decided to go out on a limb and look at another house that we hadn't originally planned on looking at. We LOVE it!! Like REALLY love it!! It's beautiful!! I'm mean really!! It's one of "those" houses in "that" neighborhood that you never thought you'd be able to live in. It has a wonderful laundry room and the closet in the master bedroom is TO DIE for!! Amazing!!

Chase and I are both agree that we love it so now we just have to wait and see if it's in God's plan. Our house should be officially on the market sometime tomorrow. Obviously, we're hoping it sells quickly so that we can have a chance at buying this wonderful home I've been praising. haha!

Anyways, so today turned out much different than I had thought it would and now I have a new something to pine over. ha! I know that God's timing is perfect according to his plan and I'm putting all trust in Him. I know wherever we end up, we'll be happy and in the best home for us.

I hope everyone is having a good week. Please continue to pray for Garrett Jones. He has been in the ICU at UAB since the April 27th storms fighting for his life. He needs a miracle to survive. I pray for peace, comfort and healing for Garrett and his family (mom, dad and brother).
