First Boo-Boo

 Our sweet stinkerbelle got her first boo-boo by another child on Easter Sunday. It was so pitiful! She was in a good mood when we dropped her off. Then when we went back to pick her up she was screaming/crying really hard. The people in the nursery didn't notice it but she had gotten a big chunk taken out of the side of her nose. Poor Brantley!
I of course noticed it right away but there wasn't much I could do at that point. She cried for a few more minutes and then she was over it.
It's been over 2 weeks and it's still in the healing process. I'm actually afraid it's going to scar, but we'll have to wait and see.

This was Easter Sunday night. I hate that she got hurt but she's really okay.

Easter 2011

 We started this morning at 6:30am which is much earlier than usual. I guess BR knew that the Easter Bunny had been to our house and brought her some goodies. She got books, bubble bath, forks, clothes (made by mommy), candy in her eggs and of course Bella.

We got ready and headed to church for a wonderful Easter service. The sermon was called There's Nothing Religious About It. If you would like to watch it you can do that by following THIS link. I am so thankful for the price Jesus paid for my sins. He washed it all away! We sang an awesome song this morning that I can't get out of my head. The chorus words are, "My God is not dead, He's surely alive. He's living on the inside, roaring like a lion." I'm loving this song! It's so true!!

"Jesus is 'the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.' Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name given under heaven by which we must be saved." - Acts 4:11-12

After church we came home, ate some lunch and took some cute pictures of BR in her Easter dress.

For lunch we went out to my aunt and uncles house to spend time with family and have an Easter egg hunt. Molly and Brantley are the youngest 2 kiddos so they got to find the easier eggs. Chase, my mom and I helped them find the first few. Watching kids hunt for Easter eggs is so fun. They get so super excited when the find an egg. So cute!

 It was such a beautiful day today!

 Brantley was on a serious sugar high when we headed home. She was exhausted but didn't fall asleep until we were almost home. Poor baby, but getting to eat chocolate was totally worth it to her, I'm sure of it!

BR's Super Cool Swimming Pool

 This afternoon we hung out in the backyard for a couple of hours while BR played in her new super cool swimming pool. I bought this pool at Kid's Market for 1/2 the regular price and it had never been used. What a deal! The water was really really cold but like usually Brantley still made the most of it and played her little heart out.

The slide on the pool is pretty fun but Brantley isn't big enough to climb up on it by herself so Chase and I helped her. I love this picture of them two. Chase finally took a break from all his constant working on this and that to just hang out in the backyard with us. He works so hard for us and I'm extremely thankful, but it was wonderful to have him slow down and have some fun with us.

What a perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon!

Spiralin' Seas Waterpark

 This past Monday I decided that Brantley (and Marina, our new friend that I keep 2-days a week) needed an outside toy to play with since the weather has started to get so nice. We have a swing but they can't do that together. I decided that a water table would be perfect.

 The pictures above are from Monday afternoon when we put the table together we let BR play in it for the first time. She was completely soaked and freezing but she didn't care one little bit. I hit a homerun with this purchase. Thanks to her great-grandparents we had a gift card left from Brantley's birthday that I was able to use to buy the table. Yay! Thank you!

 I believe this was Tuesday afternoon. Brantley has played with the water table almost every day since we got it. She loves it!

On Thursday, Marina was staying with us so Brantley introduced her to the water table. I didn't even fill it with water since the girls didn't have on bathing suits but there was still enough water left in there for them to manage getting really wet. haha It's Marina a cutie! I think so. She is super sweet! Thankfully the girls get along pretty well and have been having fun playing together. They are only 2 months apart so it's really fun to watch them interact. 

This Spiralin' Seas Waterpark water table has been a great purchase so far and I recommend it.

Firsts and Fun

 Last Saturday morning I took Brantley to her first Easter Egg Hunt that she was able to actually participate in. We met my mom and Alyssa there. The girls had a lot of fun hunting for Easter Eggs. I spent about 15 hours making matching outfits for BR and Alyssa so after the egg hunt, Alyssa changed into her outfit and we headed to the Galleria to take a picture with the Easter bunny.

Look how gosh darn cute they are!!! It might have been cheesy that I brought the bunny ears for them to wear but Alyssa seemed to think it was a great idea and BR didn't mind at all. Yay!

Note: I'm slightly disappointed that BR's pants legs are pulled up in this picture. Remember I spent 15 hours on these outfits and you can't even see her pants. Jeez! To say I was miffed at the guy working the printer for not letting us view the pictures before printing is an understatement. I mean come on! HAHA Just kidding! I'm not really that upset about it but it would have been nice if ALL of my hard work had been shown in the picture. I know, selfish! Okay, now I'm over it. They are still TOTALLY adorable and that's all that matters!!

 After taking their picture with the Easter bunny we "hopped" on over to the food court to grab a bite to eat. And yes, the pun was intended. Haha! Then since we were given coupons for Build-a-Bear, mom and I decided to treat the girls to a new stuffed friend. Brantley chose a soft white lamb and Alyssa chose a blue bear with peace signs all over it. We named BR's lamb, Bella and Alyssa's bear is named, Peace. Alyssa had a lot of fun picking out at outfit for her bear. She was a little overwhelmed with all the choices but in the end she went with pajamas because Bella was getting pajamas too.

After all that excitement, BR and I headed home for a much needed nap for the muchkin. When she woke up all she wanted to do was play with her Easter basket and eggs. We quickly disposed of the plastic grass because she was leaving a trail of it all over the house. Even a week later, Brantley is still loving to carry around her basket with the eggs. She dumps them out, says "uh oh" and then picks them all up. Cute! 

A little funny for you...Chase taught Brantley how to crack an egg on her/our heads. haha It's pretty cute! She says, "uh oh" to that too.

On Sunday after church, Nana and Alyssa came over to our house for another little egg hunt of our own and so that I could have a chance to take pictures of the girls in their matching outfits.

 So they played with bubbles, hunted for eggs and loved on each other. Alyssa is such a wonderful big cousin. She is so sweet and takes really good care of Brantley. I'm so thankful for her!

Here are my attempts at taking pictures of a 14 month old and a 5 year old at the same time. ha! Didn't go as well as I had hoped but they still turned out okay.

We had a great weekend! It was Brantley's first Easter egg hunt and her first time to go to Build-a-Bear. We had so much fun with my mom, Nana and Alyssa. I love weekends when we get to spend lots of time with them!

It's amazing how much babies change in a year when they are this young. I love my baby girl so very much even though she isn't really a baby anymore.

Ride a Little Pony and an Update

On Saturday, Brantley spent the day with my parents while Chase and I did lots of work around the house. When I went to pick her up we played for a little while before heading home. I didn't realize she was so good at riding this pony since we don't have one like this at home. She's got it figured out!  I love the new dance move she does with her shoulders. So stinkin' cute!!

Update on what's going on at the Williamson's:

I realized the other day that I haven't typed a long post in a while. I wanted to add a little family update to the end of this post for those of you who care and just for our records/memories. ha!

A few weeks ago, Chase and I decided that we are going to put our house on the market in hopes of selling the house and moving to a bigger home. We love our little house and it's location but we're growing out of it already (or at least I think we are) and adding on just doesn't make a whole lot of since to us anymore. SO, we're been working like busy bees to get all the touch-ups done and the grass growing the the back yard (it still hasn't grown back from when we had the new septic system put in last summer.) 

On Saturday, I put tongue oil on all our wood doors and washed almost all the windows on the inside. Needless to say, my forearm was killing be by the time I was finished. haha Chase did some work on our gravel side-driveway to make it look cleaner, fixed the tile under the microwave and painted the hallway. We were pooped!!

Some of the other things we've done around the house: 

• Pressure washed the deck, sidewalk, carport and driveway. 
• Stained the deck. 
• Repainted the trim around the doors to the deck. 
• Built doors to close up the lean-to (sp?) part of the storage building (those will be hung and stained this afternoon hopefully). 
• Cleaned out and reorganized some rooms in the house. 
• Put LOTS of grass seed out in the back yard (it's finally starting to grow!).
• Covered all the flower beds in the front yard with pine bark.
• Planted Iris in the front flower beds. (They're starting to bloom.)
• Put pine straw out in the backyard beds and under the deck.
• Built a rock wall around the bottom of the new heat/air unit. Filled it with dirt and then pine strawed that as well. (It looks so good!

Things still to be done before it can to on the market:

• Grout the tile under the microwave
• Put sod in the backyard where we can't seem to get grass to grow (We keep putting out seed and then it rains and washes it all away before the seeds have time to really get growing.)
• Put on a NEW ROOF! This has been a long time coming back hopefully over the next 2-3 weeks Chase and his dad (and my dad hopefully) can get that taken care of.
• Clean the crap out of the house. haha
• Stain the deck rails again and the lean-two part of the building. (I really should show pictures of that part.) Chase has done a GREAT job!

Purple Outfit on a Pretty Afternoon
