Look Who Came To Dinner

Kiki, her mommy (Ashley), and Ashley's new friend, Frankie came over for dinner.
I cooked yummy spaghetti and garlic bread. I cooked the bread too long but the spaghetti was good! Or at least, everyone said it was!

Kearstyn had a ball playing with Marley after dinner. They gave each other lots of kisses and played very well together.

Kiki and I read books after dinner also. She's really very smart for a 3 year old.

Belly Post - 19 Weeks

I'm so pumped about being almost halfway through my pregnancy. Brantley is growing a lot and so is my belly. I think I may have actually felt the baby move a few times today and yesterday. The feelings don't last long enough for me to know for sure but I'm sure over the next few days I'll really know.
WOW!! HOLY COW!!! Right now, I just felt Brantley move, like 10 times in a row. I'm so pumped!!! You should see the smile on my face!!!! It's HUGE!!!

You weigh about 8 1/2 ounces and measures 6 inches, from your head to your bottom. Your arms and legs are in the right proportions to each other and the rest of your body now. The hair on your head is starting to grow too.

Labor Day @ Alabama Adventure

Monday, Chase and I went to Alabama Adventure for some fun in the sun. We met my Mom, Alyssa and Ashley (our niece's), my little cousin Abby and my Aunt MaryJo (also Abby's Nonnie).
Because I'm pregnant I couldn't really do very much which meant Chase didn't get to do much either. Most of the tube rides were closed for some reason and the lines got pretty long quickly.
We still had a great time!!

Abby and Alyssa really enjoyed riding these race cars. They were so cute!

Look how much fun they were having. The track would go REALLY fast around the curves and then slower down the straights.

Choo-Choo Train

Abby and Alyssa rode this little roller coaster and really liked it. They looked like they were having a lot of fun after it went around the first time.

Now here are the BRAVE big kids. Chase talked my mom into riding the Zoomerang with him. After the ride, Chase was ready to go again and my mom was wishing she hadn't been so brave. Haha! That's okay though, she still did it! GO MOM!! and Chase!!

Lots of loops and turns. It goes forward first and then backwards. WOW! If I wasn't pregnant I would have gone on it with Chase again. Maybe next time!!

Towards the end of the day, everyone but me, went and rode the Log ride. I really wish I could have done this one!

We had a wonderful Labor Day and I'm very glad went! It was great to spend time with everyone!!

Marley & Me

I made this scrapblog yesterday just for the heck of it so I wanted to share it with you guys.

I hope everyone is having a good Tuesday! My Labor Day post is coming up in just a little while.

Oak Mountain State Park

Today, Chase and I decided to go to out to Oak Mountain with Marley and walk around for a while. We took the Jeep and rode with the doors off.

We drove to the back entrance, which is where we took these pictures. I had never been back in this part of the park and it was more beautiful than any of the other parts I've been to.

Next time we go, we're going to take Chase's canoe and paddle around the lake for a while.
It was so peaceful out there.

We drove to the fishing area in the back and Marley had some fun with the geese. It was REALLY funny! She barked and ran after them like she was BIG and BAD.

It was a lot of fun and Marley actually enjoyed riding in the Jeep. Doors off and wind in her face! It was a great Sunday afternoon!

Marley also decided to wade in the water a little bit. This is where the upper lake spills into the lower lake. You have to drive through this water to get to where we took the pictures and the fishing/picnic area. We had fun going through it in the Jeep.

I didn't last very long out there today. I'm still really tired from yesterday trip to Auburn and all the walking we did. So after a while we headed back to the house and all three took a very long nap on the couches.

If you haven't been out the Oak Mountain in a while, I recommend going again and heading to the back of the park where we went today. It was beautiful and lots of fun!!

My Growl Is Bigger Than Your Howl

Yesterday, Chase, my parents and I went down to Auburn for the first AU game of the season. We had a wonderful time!
When we got there we first went to visit my Dad's, Aunt Ruth, that lives in Auburn. She and her son (also my dad's cousin), Dawson, have been living in Auburn since Katrina went through New Orleans. We stopped by there house and then had lunch at Durango's. It was great to see them both!

After lunch, we headed into town to park and walk around for a while. We stopped my Momma Goldberg's for some yummy Nachos and to rest in there AC. It was MUCH hotter than we had anticipated yesterday.

Chase and I had a wonderful time getting to hang out with my parents for the day. We don't get the chance to spend this much time with them often, so yesterday was a great day.

My mission for the day was to find this adorable shirt. We had looked in a few stores and I hadn't seen one. I was beginning to get disappointed. Then, we decided to stop by Toomer's Drug store and low and behold there it was, my shirt. Yay! I yelled out the door to Chase, "THEY HAVE ONE!!!!" I was beyond excited!
So, naturally I had to change into my new shirt before we headed to the stadium for the game. It was also MUCH more comfortable than my jersey.

Once we climbed, literally, to our seats we realized that we were sitting in the section that Spirit, the eagle flies from. Look how close we were!! They brought the cage up the stairs right by my dad and about 10 rows above us.

Spirit flew around, and around, and around the stadium before landing near center field. It was one of the best flights I've seen in a while. WAR EAGLE!!

Here come the TIGERS!! WAR EAGLE!!!!

This year the marching band has 380 members. That is the most members they have EVER have. The band was wonderful!! The half time show was GREAT!!

This was yesterday's gameday shirt. This guy was sitting in front of my dad so I decided to take a picture of his shirt.

We enjoyed the game so much! There were some really awesome plays and there were a few we could have lived without but in the end, WE WON!!!

Belly Post - 18 weeks

I'm so excited about the belly that is really starting to pop out now.
I noticed this week that my belly button is already starting to "pop." Normally, I have a very deep belly button (I usually can't see in it, if that makes since) and now I can clearly see inside it. WEIRD!! I'm not so sure how I feel about it, but I guess I'll deal with it. haha!

It was TEAM day at school today so, of course, I wore my AUBURN jersey. WAR EAGLE!! Tomorrow Chase, my parents and I are going to the Auburn game. I'm pretty sure that today and tomorrow are the only times I'll be able to wear this jersey until next season. It's pretty tight!

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! I'll post pictures from tomorrow on Sunday. I'm hoping to buy a maternity t-shirt that has an arrow pointing down and says BABY! The A in Baby is an AU symbol. SO CUTE!!
